30058 This was my first and only birthday show. I remember thinking this show was not the quality Dead I've seen before. The first set had technical problems. Bob's voice is off. The playing is rather uninspired and falls flat. Halfway into the first song of the show, a buddy of mine's brother left the show. He didn't even want to waste his time. CrazyDave 2005-03-08 12:53:06 2005-03-08 12:53:06 1 57777 I was at this show and if someone needs to picture a wild spectacle going on with a fantastic concert, think of the most terrifying and exhilerating tumbling by tiny Chinese all over the place, hallucinagenically enhanced and infused with a ripping sound track. This show came at the end of a very great/difficult time in my life and the start of a weird and lost period. Listening to this concert steels my conviction that everything and anything can be right around the corner in life. Enjoy the crap out of it, even if there is a little messed up sound quality. I have to admit this recording isn't that great seems to not be mixed well[levels at show were perfect].
